What to expect

In this two hour workshop with John and Emma Green from CD Lawyers give real life examples of incidents, the legal implications they caused and how they helped clients to mitigate or eliminate those risks.

Following the talk there will be a spontaneous panel where real life incidents will be recalled and how they could have mitigated them with help from John and Emma.

Finally, John will be in the hotseat! Ask him anything, free legal advice what’s not to like

All this will be followed by a complementary lunch at 12pm for networking and more questions

Matt’s three decades in the tech industry have seen him hold leadership positions at the BBC, Reuters, Microsoft, global marketing agency Imagination, and London social housing provider RHP.

He’s a sociologist who helps organisations unpick the messy bit between people and systems. His career has also involved sideways steps into management and leadership development, as well as technology marketing.

Since 2022, he has been an Engagement Manager at Equal Experts, working with a range of public and private sector clients.

John Green is a senior solicitor and co-founder of Cyber Data Law Solicitors. John oversees all aspects of the firm and provides specialist legal advice in complex areas of cyber security, data protection law and AI. John provides legal advice and representation for organizations both in Court and with Regulators. John provides advice and assistance to organisations who have suffered cyber-attacks, cyber incidents and data breaches. He provides legal advice to organisations faced with complex subject access requests and data breach claims. John has studied at both Harvard Law School and Harvard Kennedy School in the US. John is an avid Astro-photographer which a special interest in imaging the sun’s surface.
