History at college and wrote a 3000 word essay on Tony Wilson and the cultural revolution Manchester experienced in the 70’s/80’s/90’s.
To Kill a Mockingbird – Harper Lee or The Love Songs of W.E.B Du Bois – Honorée Fannone Jeffers. At university I studied English and American Literature and so began my obsession with American culture and what books can tell us about what’s really going on in society from a person’s perspective.

Why are you involved in the Manchester Tech Festival?
Tech and Manchester have changed my life for the better thanks to kind people supporting me
and taking chances on me. I’m now in a very fortunate position to pay it back so that’s what I’m going to start doing!
